Aux rad DIY

Post by Baz4 » Tue Jul 08, 2014 6:20 pm

Hi all,
I've hunted high and low but can't find a guide on how to change the aux rads. I know the aux rad delete DIY is there but I just want to replace both of mine like for like. Looking for info on how to re-fill coolant and bleed system if needed. Checked on elsawin and it reckons you need a vacuum system to create negative pressure in the coolant system before filling. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

It will bleed itself. Pour in. Get up to temp and then check levels again. Aux rads if just swapping over are self explanatory once bumper is off

Thankyou for your response. I'm just OCD even on simple jobs. Got a ramp at a friends garage now so shouldn't take too long hopefully
