Just when everything it's fixed then I get this who has had

Post by Jamiestanton » Sun Apr 20, 2014 11:22 am

Car was running perfect after new clutch fitted some little problems but there sorted now
Then I get this
Mad noise from the clutch pedal sounds like a ratchet noise as I let off not doing it on stand still just when moving as you release the pedal now and again hope this is something on the back of the pedal
Has any one had this happen to there car
Apart from that everything else is good for now

Did you have flywheel replaced at the same time?

Yes I changed fly ,slave, master, spring on pedal ,pipe from slave
First few days fine then yestoday started making this mad noise like plastic clicking it's strange maybe something on the back of the pedal I have missed
Only doing it when running
I wonder if there is air in the system
Or the it's adjusting it's self

I had this after my clutch was done, it was the big return spring behind the pedal. Seems when the clutch was out the pedal moved and the spring come off the mountings. Not an expensive part but it came as a shock when it popped out and smacked me in the shin
