Not long after I bought mine I was filling it up when a guy with a Range Rover SS pulled up on the other side of the pump island.

"That an RS4 mate?"
"Yep".
"Nice motor. Bet it's thirsty though"
"Well, it averages about 22"
"Christ, mind averages 15..."
He looked genuinely shocked and a bit peeved :D

My 2 year old loves mine, when we get ready to go out he grabs the RS keys and runs to the garage shouting "daddy's car", won't stop crying if we take the 406 instead though :boohoo:

Another occurrence. Driving home from Cornwall today on the M5 in a traffic jam a Marks and Spencer lorry pulls along side in the middle lane, paps his horn. I look up and the drivers signalling a rev it up. So a I give a good old rev and I get thumbs up from the lorry driver.

The RS4 has now gotten me two discounts over the last few days.

Was down at the local motor factors getting some oil and was about to pay when this lad came in who I chatted to outside the motor factors about my RS4 the last time i was down, he comes over to have another yarn about the car and as we finish he tells the lad to look after me.... 20% off... can’t argue with that.. he then comes returns out of the back of the Shop with an oil funnel to make my life easier when filling the oil!

Then today I pull up at a golf Shop to get a parting gift for a lad in the office. As i walk over to the Shop a guy gets out of an Astra OPC and asks me about the RS4, we have a chat as we walk into the golf Shop. He then asks if he can help me cause he works there. I just asked for a voucher and some Nike golf balls, he says sure and give get me the voucher and knocks a €5 off the golf balls.

Can’t argue with that now, the RS4 isn’t bad on the wallet after all!

I wind the windows down when driving through a narrow street, let alone a tunnel. Going to Le Mans in June, its going to scare the living crap out of the other passengers when it starts up to get off the euro-tunnel, especially when the sport button is pressed :bigwave:
