Hi All, so looking to upgrade my head unit and pulled the old one out today. Quad lock connector only has Block 'D' fitted, Block 'A' is completely missing!!!! I don't have the 32 pin connector plugged into the back of the unit either, not even installed as a loom, as far as I can see! All the speakers work fine and as far I know sounds ok. Is this normal?
Cheers. xxx

Re: Head Unit Upgrade
Yes that's perfectly normal.
The 32-pin connector is only needed when you have a TV tuner, an Aux In or an AMI.
And Block A is only needed when speakers are connected directly to the head unit, and as all RS4s have Bose (where the speakers are all amplified) it's not needed.
