Yes - the Passat part will offer spray, but is slightly smaller than the Audi jet, so you have to hot glue/super gluer this in the aperture. Is that right anissuba? I've read the spray reaches less than half way up the screen - is that right?

Yes the fan spray doesn't reach above half, correct....
However i purchased the adaptors and no need for glue etc.. With the adaptors a very good fit must say.

Adaptors - that's cool - do you have a part number by chance or are they she same as per the previous post Audi adaptors?

Cheers for confirming that...

I listed all the PNs on the first post of this thread - the Passat fans do work and I am running them - no need for hot glue, however the Audi tri-jets are probably the best bet - I had the fan jets but not sure would buy them.

Cheers MB2 - they are the Audi parts for the tri-jets right? I was looking for the Passat fan spray jet PN's.

You think the Audi tri-jets are better then?

EDIT///// Just spotted the Passat fan spray PN. I should've gone to Specsavers....

So I can find it easier in my posts. Any other questions? Is the Earth flat?

You can use the forum bookmark facility for that sort of thing. Well that's what I do anyway.

Also if you scroll through my blue cars ownership thread, you can see the 2 nozzle vs 3 nozzle comparison pictures I took to see the difference.

The point of the subscribe function is so that you can be notified of any new posts on a topic that you are interested in. I thought it odd that someone would want to subscribe to a topic that had pretty much finished discussions years ago and would be unlikely to have any further chat unless they had missed how old it was or hadn't seen all the pages where it was fully discussed. Just trying to help but seems you don't want any.
Also odd that you'd tell us you'd subscribed to bookmark the page. Why not just subscribe? Or bookmark the page? No bother to me, do what you like, just thought it was odd.

Sorry I must have missed the bit where you were trying to help? All I seen was a question? Must be my feeble mind playing tricks on me again.

Thanks for your concern, it’s duly noted.
