Greetings from Dubai!
Greetings from Dubai!
Hi All
Recently picked up a car I've wanted for ages now. Given the miles I was doing in the UK, could never justify the spend on fuel....of course out here its quite a different story!!
Have some plans to do a few minor tweaks to the car starting with spacers. May look to change to coilovers at some stage but drc setup seems fine at present.
What a fun car to own!! Very understated and in the land of AMG Merc's, not many people even know what this machines capable of as they are very rare in the UAE.
Some details on the beast - UAE Specification (solar panel sunroof, electric rear blinds, flat bottom wheel, black leather. Full Audi history, 169,000 km (high but one owner and all motorway miles)
Anyone else from Dubai on here ?
Anyways some pics for now....
Regards
Sean

Re: Greetings from Dubai!
Welcome! that's a lovely colour. I think the aluminium trim looks nice with it, whereas on black and the darker grey colour I think black optic trim works best.

Re: Greetings from Dubai!
Welcome and FON
Car looks well clean man!! I put 8mm Hubcentric Spacers all round and it does make a difference, 8's on the front and 10's on the back are the more common combo though.
Whats the score price wise for the RS4's out in Dubai, are they similar in value to the UK or vastly over priced like they are in Australia?
How about fuel cost, how much is a litre of 98 Ron these days. I remember filling a minibus up in Abu Dhabi for £12 a few years back!!
By the way nice colour that, what is it?

Thanks! It's Daytona grey (lighting in the carpark maybe misleading).
Re: Greetings from Dubai!
Just come back from Dubai yesterday, seen a couple of RS4's in spreint blue but mostly R8's, A8's and Q7's more than any other Audi.
Whereabouts are you based there? I'll keep an eye out for your car next time as most of my work is around DIFC and Oud Metha

Sean I'm based in Dubai and running a silver RS4 with gunmetal wheels. It wasn't you I waved at in the filter lane to turn into Emaar Boulevard a few weeks ago was it?

Another guy i work with has a red one and in my apartment building carpark there is a white one too!! i heard there were only 8 rs4's in dubai but if there were i think i've seen them all!!

I think I saw your RS4 when I was out in Dubai a couple of weeks ago, I only know of two SB saloons there so a good chance it was you! At the crossroads of Burj Khalifa and Sheikh Zayed Road.
