Headlight removal/Parking sensor fix

Post by Madmonkee » Wed Feb 27, 2013 1:32 pm

My passenger front parking sensor if duff completely now, my question is:
Can I remove the headlight without taking off the bumper? Is it the possible for girly hand like me to get the parking sensor out in situ with the gap made by removing the headlight whilst bumper is still in situ?

I don't think you can get the headlight out without taking the bmuper off anyway.

On the B7 the bumper has to come off the get the headlights out - one of the things that the B7 facelift from the B6 got wrong (on the B6 the headlights just slide out with the bumper in place).

Another triumph of style over substance :audibash:

I had tow front parking sensors replace and the guy managed to replace both without removing the bumper, not sure how he did it but believe he just removed the under tray and came at them from below.

I had to replace a bulb in my headlight recently. I managed to get the headlight out without completely removing the bumper. I removed the bumper screws/bolts on the same side of the car and pulled the bumper back enough to get the headlight out.

Do you happen to have the part number? Ends 275D?
