How to remove latch

I have bought a new latch for my glove box and would like to know how to replace. Do i need to take whole door off or can latch be removed,

Any instructions please B7 RS4 Avant 07

I've changed mine before. Can't remember how to do it though.
I probably googled 'Audi a4 b7 remove lock glovebox' or something similar. I don't think I had to take door off.
