Hi Guys

We have got the first induction kit installed and it looks pretty amazing in the flesh...!
http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f63/r ... S4-Kit.jpg

No time to get down to the R-R sadly but we will be heading down as soon as we get an afternoon free.

Come and have a look at it in the flesh on Sunday and give us your comments...taking orders and will work out a special offer for the 1st 10 sold.

Just need to confirm up the price but looking at around half the price of a GruppeM kit..!

But weve spent a lot of time working to improve the Airflow over the MAF and intake pipe etc.

Thanks
Little Glen

Looks good Glenn, pity about the rr as it's the only reason I'd trade up my GruppeM to one if the improved airflow produced tangible results. :beerchug:

Agreed! Bet the induction noise is awesome! I remember putting a ram air type kit on my Vr6, sounded stupidly good :). Any sound clips??

Since the factory air box has three inlets and already flows pretty well, I was wondering about the kit's air source. If it's just from the front, hopefully the inlet size has been increased. All that matters to me is how it flows compared to the factory air box.

Revolution - how are you going to 'test' it and will you share those results? Dyno is nice, but some real performance (on the road) testing would be pretty valuable as well since the intake dynamics on the road vs. static on a dyno are going to be pretty different. What is the big benefit of the unit vs. stock for that matter? Have you considered creating something that uses another inlet besides the main snorkel up front? What happened to the other flap inlet?

Not really sure how much there is in it for an airbox mod on these modern Audis but would be interested to see an improvement. I think we've seen 4-5 of them for the various S/RS 4.2 cars and none of them have really worked (some actually made the cars slower).

Sure looks great at least. Anything you can do to match the colour to the stock yellow carbon fibre engine covers :bigblink:

here's the pic embedded for those who don't click links...

saki, I doubt there is any carbon that you will get to match the engine covers as they are pre preg and discolour because they are sitting on the engine; the air intake and any other bits you had skinned / made will retain their colour because they do not touch the engine and won't suffer latent heat soak as much. I personally wouldn't want yellow carbon all over the engine bay, would you?

IIRC pre-preg carbon has heat tolerance up to 150-200 degrees C before discolouring.
