Just in case anybody needs new tyres Michelins Costco are doing a tyre deal at the moment don't worry you don't need to get them fitted there take them away and get fitted some other place

Not in Glasgow Costo ordered Tyres in for me also ordered tyres for my van even though I'm not picking them up for a month

Thought that was vey good to be honest,you seemed suprised a while back PG when i had been offered a set fitted for £1k so these at £860 cant be much more than vreds?

I've just bought 4 new Vreds in the group buy from Revolution not put them on my car yet might get the PS3s fitted and keep the Vreds as spares

FWIW - PS3's are currently £211.10 each at Camskill, but you'd need to factor in around £10 per wheel for fitting too

Are Costco fitters that bad? I was passing by the Leeds Costco today and popped in. The couple of lads in there were mature youngish family men (around 30yrs +). Had a long chat with them and they were friendly and helpful. As above, the ps3 came to £856 fitted and balanced using their claimed top of the range balancing equipment , which induced confidence in me vs getting them fitted by ordinary tire place with ancient balancing equipment. That price is comparable to the new Goodyear AS 2s. There was one on display and u could see the decent level of rim protection, probably like the AS 2s. The AS 1s I have on don't have much protection. I'm pretty tempted by these as I believe they are better than the highly rated Goodyears. Need to read more around them cos never paid much attention to comments on them on here thinkin they were too dear, so just focused on reading about GY and vreds.
