Checked out Audi of West London a few years ago. Initially I wasn't too impressed as we have some pretty large and extravagant dealers here in Southern California (mainly Orange County and West LA) but then after some sweet talking they let me go up to the private area on the 5th floor with some Le mans winning cars and Audi Quattro's - stuff you definitely won't see over in the states. :bigblink:

Here are some of my pics from then:

For sure, let me know when you come out. A lot of great car related things to do and see.

Btw, when is everyone planning a Santa Pod visit next?

I just might, as long as you don't twist my arm. I've heard you're skilled at arm twisting.

Woohoo about to board.

Has anyone ever been to Brands Hatch for touring car races or the Porsche Carrera Cup?

About to book some tickets but wanted to confirm from someone that's been if it's worth it. How's the racing, view from grandstand, pit access, etc...?

Been many times, well worth a look if you can, its on the Indy circuit so only 1.2 miles a lap.

Lunchtime pit lane walkout is the only only access unless you have a VIP pass.

Anywhere near Paddock Hill is good, you can see most of the track from there.

Arrived yesterday to some surprisingly nice weather down here in London. Where's the gloomy grey sky you're famous for?

Booked my tickets for Brands Hatch.........

And picked up my 'rental' for the next couple weeks. Has paddle-shifter but beggars can't be choosers. Plan to take it up to MRC Wednesday when I come up.......

Is that a 'vert? Perfect car for the weather we're having.
