That's a very light shade of Mugello Blue, looks more like Sprint Blue to me :ban:

I would be worried about a car with that low mileage, a 6 years old car that's only done just over 7k miles will have spent a lot of time sitting around - which is when things seize and/or rust.

Decent price for a car that age with that mileage though but agree with you Dave, what will that engine run like after so little use in the last 6 years.

what if the DRC goes faulty as doubt it would of been checked or changed at that mileage.

And as the dealer has got the simplest thing wrong, the colour, are they any good??

I would rather buy one with around 30k miles on the clock and that is sprint not mugello.

I'm looking for an rs4 at the moment - surely in terms of value it would be better to have a lower mileage car? Would the car be mechanically better with 30k rather than 8k miles? There's an 8k miles daytona avant on pistonheads that the owner is expecting 39k for...seeing this at 25k makes a mockery of that price...ok it might have a better spec but 50% + more £££!?

I'd take a punt @ that price if it were me. But I am intrigued about its story

Thought the digital signal switchover was done & dusted already?

Yes it almost certainly would be better with 30k miles rather than 8k miles.

A car that has done only 8k miles will:
- have sat around a lot so there will be uneven load on the suspension, possibly causing damage to the bushes and tyres
- probably be on the original tyres, which could be hardened through age and UV exposure
- will have sat for long periods between use, allowing rust and corrosion to start working
- probably not have done many, if any, hard enough and long enough runs to get the engine and transmission up to temperature
- may not have even had a service?

Personally I would buy a 30k mile 6 year old car every time in preference to an 8k mile one. Too little use can be even worse than too much use since the damage is insidious and the servicing regime is likely to have been minimal.

The Meridian region doesn't switchover until the end of March, followed by London in April, Tyne Tees in September and finally Northern Ireland in October.

Since the dealer is in Belfast, surely the import duty will only apply if you live in the Republic and not if you bring it back to England/Scotland/Wales?

Hi all, had a saloon which I put 30k on and had 2 shocks done + disc's changed under warranty. Had a cab which I did just under 13k in and had new radiators fitted under warranty. I think it's luck of the draw !!!!!

Agree with the above.
My opinion is that super low mileage is worse than a well maintained high miler.
If a car is going to go wrong then it's likely to be in the first 10k miles.
Then you've got the above issues of a lot of standing time.
