bloody hell long time no speak, hows the Milly and GruppeM ;)
Good mate thank you!

Milly has developed cracks over time so has been in for some touch up surgery now and again. Tim, who looks after the car was saying they really aren't as good quality as they used to be and should be at the prices they are charging.

Still, the combo does sound good! I sometimes think I could do with something more subtle but then people literally stop me in the street to say how nice it sounds....

Looking at getting into fast, subtle diesels at the moment, but just can't think of a car that would make me as happy as the RS!!

How are you mate?

Will
Where has the Milltek cracked? That shocking as its what less than 3 years old now. I better keep an eye on mine.

Just read your other post about the electrics, hope you get is sorted soon.

I know how you feel about the RS, not many cars can replace it for practicability, sound and performance.

I'll ask specifics when I pick it up, but for the price they are asking, this shouldn't happen. Tim says it's certainly not the only one he has seen and doesn't really recommend them anymore. But yeah, good to keep an eye out!

Milltek has a lifetime guarantee for as long as you own the car, it is not over 30%(IIRC) more than stock power, and have the original recepit, and have always honoured it in my experience.

Well I bought it off Sonny so I have no receipts or anything....guess it's a bit late if it's already been welded once?

I was reading on R8 Talk about the shocking quality of some of their R8 Milltek's where they had disintergrated and could have blew the engine !

think im going to avoid them from now on....

Got my self a Quicksilver instead !
