I spotted a set sitting on the counter when we were at Black Boots, that time.
Maybe worth giving them a try (won't be the cheapest though)

Weird,
EBC suggest the Red Stuff for spirited driving and less brake dust. No mention of the yellow.

ebc are poor, we have seen a few sets where the friction material has seperated from the metal pad, and these were on the rear of an s2

For as many poor comments I have seen positive ones for EBC yellowstuffs and TBH they have lasted well on my car with no issues.

Although I've recently sold my RS4, thought i'd chime in:

I moved to YellowStuff and found them fine - that's after I shredded a set of discs and pads in 11k on the front. Down to the wear limit.

Observations:
1. Check that you get the right YS pads - the RS6 ones are not correct and you need to file out the central hole to fit over the 'bar' - i though EBC were going to correct this to worth checking
2. Watch the bottom inner pad - it tends to seize - plenty of copperslip on the bottom edge

I fitted Ti shims to reduce the heat pushed in to the piston and brake system - found them excellent as they get the pads to temp quickly.

Brake Pads - Opinions

Yellow stuff for sure dude, pads all round from catskills will be about 280 ish ( iirc).

I praise ds24500s and those that have been in my car will agree. Iv noticed that I don't have a lip on my discs maybe due to the overlap of the pad?
Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a well sorted racecar

We got EBC NDX blue stuff pads for the brothers car and he is very impressed with them, cant remember the price but they were sourced from Aztec performance http://www.superhids.co.uk/ you will need to phone them up as they dont have them on the website.

First time giving them a bit of stick they almost dissapeared, backed of for a couple of corners and didnt have any fade after that. :blackrs4:

edit found the email

Fronts - EBC BLUESTUFF NDX FORMULA RACING BRAKE PADS - AUDI RS6 4.2 TWIN TURBO 2002 to 2006 - DP51513NDX £212.24 inc VAT
Rears - EBC BLUESTUFF NDX FORMULA RACING BRAKE PADS - AUDI RS6 4.2 TWIN TURBO 2002 to 2006 - DP51470NDX £85.20 inc VAT
Total £297.44 with free shipping prices were with sensors included

That was back in May. It took a few weeks to get them sent out as they had to make the rears as they hadnt made any before in that compound.
