...You took up two parking spaces? That just screams asshole to me. Maybe I'm reading it wrong.

My sympathies go out to you - you Shop at Asda. :biggrin3:

To be honest though deliberately taking 2 parking spaces in a supermarket does mark you out as a bit of a :knob:

If you value your P&J then buy a snotter for the daily grind and leave the RS for some weekend fun. :kissmyrings:

It doesn't look too bad so chin up.

£1200 for that, I think they are having you on TBH if one worst case from those photos it is through to the metal on the door skin and the plastic on the bumper strip (latter looks black / dirty)?

Get it delivered - win win :beerchug:

Looking at the photos its not clear - is it just the rubbing strip that's damaged? If so £1200 is a joke - Audi will just subcontract it to Chips Away /Dentmaster and wave you off with a 'Sucker!!'

A bit harsh bam bam.

If the car park was busy and spaces were hard to find it would be an asshole thing to do but having had cars damaged in car parks before I know where this guys coming from.

I'm sure if it was your car you'd feel differently.

If I have to leave my P&J in a supermarket car park find I a quiet bit as far away as possible from the entrance and away from the trolley parking bays.

I don't park over two spaces - but i do park as far away from the main enterance as possible - the quiet bit where no one else parks... until.... i park there and on my return, guaranteed you will find some knob parked close to me??? Unfortunately the paractice of this and parking over two spaces just makes you a target and therefore as much of a risk getting damaged as you would parking next to all the others...
Solution - take the child so you can park in the parent spaces. No child? Get busy! ;-)

I would say £500 max.

My wife put her 307 into a central reservation a few weeks back, much worse damage which included...

Front Bumper
Both Doors
Front Wing
Rear Wing
Both door side sills
The lower side skirt
Rear Bumper

The whole side was dented in, the door sills grinded down the paint had been scraped off (lacquer, top coat, gel coat, primer etc back to bear metal)

Went to garage for 5 days was £800 to fix.

The damage was purely cosmetic, dents, scratches and paint although the door and wing didn't even align as wing was pushed so far in.

Horrid thing to have happened feel sorry for you, but think as someone mentioned £400 - £600 tops for that fixed from someone with a good reputation.
