cheers mate, i've had this problem for a few days now and been racking brain on what to do, thing is i will have to declare this claim for the next 3-5 years on each renewal which just means i will be *rse r*pped each time! So it's a problem i have for the next few years...

I've tried coutless companies, all the bloody same, and anyone cheaper wants over a grand in excess! It's a no win situation

I'd imagine it to be less, as out of interest I got a few different quotes, B5, S4, S3 8l... All came out half the cost of the B7!

I'm 46, 6 points, 3 claims, my wife has two claims (one total loss) and I pay just under £1k with my mods declared. The price went up £250 from when I got my insurance quote before I bought the RS to actually taking out the cover. I'm with Elephant.

I'll happily go to those spungers house with you and break a leg or two?

A lot of these injury claims are down to the Insurance Companies themselves.... it was all over Watchdog the other week.
The claimants company pushes them to claim for injury's because that company gets a cut of any payout.
Scandalous... but they're all up to their necks in it.

I'm getting at least 4 text messages a week from one of these companies saying I can make an injury claim from my "recent accident" - what makes it silly is that I haven't had an accident in over 4 years (and that was only minor, with the last big one being 23 years ago).

This whole business of spurious injury claims, and the way the insurers actually encourage them, needs stopping ASAP as we are all being ripped off.

...........just been told that all 3 of the occupants in the other car made injury claim!! F-in to33ers! I wish I could give them real injuries to worry about
Fcuking hell mate, I feel for you, this could happen to any one of us. :drink:

Did you contest their injury claims at the time [with your insurance company] considering there was no damage to either vehicle? You exchanged insurance details at the scene, and they fcuked you basically?

I'm sure I remember an example on here a while back where the cars hit wing mirror to wing mirror, so the damage was slight and the impact almost insignificant, yet the claim from the other party was about £5000 as it included a claim for whiplash that the insurance company did not contest despite it clearly being fraudulent?

Looking back I should have just drove off, but I guess this is what you get for being law abiding motorist.

I did argue the claim with the insurer but was told 'it's abit of a grey area and very difficult to prove that there are no injuries' bunch of F-in thieving bastards.
