I'M BACK... WITH AUDI AGAIN

Post by TIMSRS » Thu Aug 25, 2011 3:02 pm

Just put a deposit on my new car ....
2006 (06) Sprint blue saloon with 40k on the clock and 1 owner.
Can't wait pick it up next monday, they want to do a recall, not sure you guys may know more.
A plate has to be bonded where the battery goes, can anyone highlight on this.
Regards
Tim

Thanks guys
Totally missed the RS6 when i sold it and also missed the forum if i'm honest.
Had a Porsche turbo for a while and joined the 911Uk forum it was not a scratch on RS246...
Glad to be back, i will post some pics when i get it.

Welcome back!

It was a service campaign rather than a recall - 53B3 which adressed cracking of the area near the battery on certain models. Just a bit of sealant, so no big deal...

Thanks for that..Speaking to them they inform me it has been done once, but now they bond a plate into position, almost like a recall on a recall as the first attemp was not good enough.

Regards
Tim
