God I love this car ~ Big Kid.

Post by Timster » Tue Aug 23, 2011 11:14 pm

Have now had the RS for nearly 10 months.....
Nearly every evening, I go out for a blast. Tyres are wearing low and it's damp outside... so EPS etc set to off and away we go..... :biggrin3:

Girlfriend thinks I'm bonkers but as she retires to beddy byes much earlier than me... what the heck.
It's great out there at this time of night.... you see loads of other cars obviously doing the same thing.

Even popped into South Mimms for a cuppa.
I still can't get enough of my RS.

What a kid !

Love it did the same tonight, took my mate (Copper) out for a spin tonight, we went out in his tuned Supra then came out in mine. 4th year of owner ship and I love it still.
Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a well sorted racecar

I had to go out at midnight the other night.

With the Milltek and the high revs on cold startup, I think I woke up everyone within a 1km radius!! LOL

Hahaha, I'm not the only one behaving like a kid, I recently drove down the high street late on a Sunday evening, no other cars around, one way street, tall buildings either side, I elected for second with all the windows down.

Hahaha. Yes, I do that too. :-)

When I first got my car in 07 I used to say I was "nipping out for petrol". Two hours later I'd come home to be told "where did you go for fuel?... the moon?"

With the RS4 shortcuts don't exist. Its always better taking the long way home.

Haha, reading all these I know it's not only me that does all of the above!!

I drove into work this morning and they have mirrors on the corners in the car park, I actually drove past nodding my head saying "looking good"!!

All of the above I am guilty of and more. With the x-pipe in place and non res I drag the clutch to make the exhaust blowback just that little bit more. It pops like a dream.... :FIREdevil:

I find mine in 4th gear and accelerating from 1500rpm upwards makes it warble like a dream thorugh to a full on raucous bark by 5000 rpm.
