Re: Anyone live in or around Inverurie ?
I'm just down the road in Aberdeen which is only about 10 / 15 miles away? Don't really head up that way much but if you're dead keen I could head out sometime for a lookie on your behalf?
http://www.autocentreinverurie.co.uk/us ... 3390535621
Close up of the interior shot shows theres a red warning of some sort on the DIS.
Not sure if this is to do with the car door being open?

Re: Anyone live in or around Inverurie ?
Hi pie,
From memory i think that's just what shows when you're going through the menu setting up what you want on and off in your car, but anyone feel free to correct me !
I would very much appreciate you giving it the once over for me as it's a hell of a long way for me to travel just to find out it's a dog.
What kind of reputation have they got, do you know ??
Just when you're passing pie, i'd really appreciate it, DRC, discs pads etc. and if you can visually inspect the service history.
PM me with your opinion
Many thanks
Thanks

Victor - no idea about reputation but I'll ask around.

Re: Anyone live in or around Inverurie ?
Victor,
As it's Aberdeen Audi supplied, give them a phone and you should get the history.
Pie, I think the warning on the DIS is seperate to the door being opened. Could be simple as low fluids........but somebody would really ned to give it a check.
I'm in Westhill weekdays if it's any help.

Victor,
Phone Aberdeen Audi, get the history then decide what you want to do.
We could turn this into an NE Scotland RS4 Meet and all descend on Autocentre LOL!

Re: Anyone live in or around Inverurie ?
Went to view this car after work today.
Had its first service at 15k miles and due another one soon. Standard exhaust, didn't get an opportunity to test the flaps as I was on my own but we'll assume you'll be binning them for a Milltek!
So the important bit:

Translated, this means:
E0A = No special edition
7A2 = CD changer
4UE = Air bag for driver and front seat passenger
6XD = Exterior mirrors: electrically adjustable/heated
5SJ = Left exterior mirror: convex
6TS = Right exterior mirror: aspherical, large viewing field
1KY = Disc brakes, rear
J0Z = Battery 520 A (110 Ah)
1LP = Disc brakes, front
2MC = Sports suspension with variable shock absorption
3FA = Without roof insert (standard roof)
5TG = Decorative aluminum inserts, dulling
7X2 = Park distance control, front and rear
4R4 = Power windows with comfort operation andcircuit breaker
F0A = No special purpose vehicle, standard equipment
8GH = Alternator 190 A
0G1 = Gearshift lever
0YK = Weight range 10 installation control only, no requirement forecast
0JJ = Weight category front axle weight range 9
TK7 = 8-cylinder gasoline engine 4.2 L unit 079.D (aluminum)
3NZ = Rear seat bench unsplit, backrest split folding
8EC = Bi-functional headlight with gas discharge lamp, for driving on the left
U1B = Instrument insert with mph speedometer, clock, tachometer and trip odometer
X2B = National sales program Great Britain
1N3 = Speed-related variable steering assist (Servotronic)
2PX = Leather trimmed sports steering wheel
8Q5 = Headlight-range adjustment, automatic/ dynamic with dynamic bending light (AFS 1)
9Q4 = Multi-function display/on-board computerwith check control
8Z5 = Not hot country
D0W = 8-cylinder gasoline engine 4.2 L/309 kW (32V) FSI, homogeneous base engine is TK7/TV7
7Q2 = Navigation system with color screen
C5K = Alloy wheels 9J x 19
7K7 = Tire pressure control, frequency 433 MHzbasic level version
6C0 = Curtain air bag
VJ3 = Reinforced bumpers
3L3 = Manual height adjustment for front seats
4KC = Side and rear windows in heat-insulatingglass
3Y0 = Without roll-up sun screen
4K2 = Radio remote controlled central locking "SZV"
5D1 = Carrier frequency 433.92 MHz-434.42 Mhz
1SA = Without additional engine guard
0GG = Emission standard EU4
Q4P = Sports front seats
4GT = Heat-insulating glass windshield
Drivers upper and lower bolster. Very minor wear IMO.
I inflated the bolsters when I was handed the key. After inspecting the rest of the car (about 15-20 minutes) I tried to re-inflate and it wouldn't take any more so assume its holding air and not leaking.
Rest of the interior VGC.

Front and rear discs.
Fronts do have a lip - not as bad as mine but mine are due v soon.
At a guess I would say you'd get another 8-10k out of them

Condensation in drivers headlight - no issues with passenger one.

Bodywork is in excellent condition.
No door dings or any evidence of respray, panels are all straight, gaps all even.
A few small ripples along the lower part of the door (2" strip just above the sideskirt) but I've noticed I have them too. Inherent issue on RS4's?
Minor stone chips along front bumper - nothing serious and certainly not excessive or anything to worry about.

Alloys are all unkerbed but also look to be Smart repaired - these two photos will give you an idea of the type of finish throughout.
At first glance they seem fine but close visual inspection and you can pick up on the anomolies. On the flip side you do get a full set of nearly new tyres.
To be fair though, Audi would go down the same route with a cheap repair to prep and sell the car.

Boot pops from the keyfob but doesn't fully open (was boot opening an option?)
Cargo net in the boot as well as a rubber boot liner but didn't see a compressor (another optional extra?)
The front carbon engine cover has lost its sheen, looks like someone might have tried to polish it with a cutting compound maybe? Anyway, its got a matted effect. The rear one appears to be OK.
Couldn't see in behind the wheels to get a look at the struts.
Overall, looks to be a sound car for its age.
The alloys would probably need to go to Lepsoms if you're bring really fussy but they would do for now - especially since we'll soon be moving into the winter months.
They were short on staff today - the director; Philip Mair was running the show on his own so I didn't get an opportunity to sift through the maintenance paperwork & receipts as he was running in and out his office answering the phone.
Car had just come back from a test drive with a potential customer who's going to get back to him on Friday so you might need to move quickly to secure it if you're keen.
Also not sure if the last owner extended the warranty.
If the car was in Sprint Blue, I would probably buy it but I'd negotiate on the price.
I think its taxed until September.
Any other questions just give me a shout.

Pie, i'm lost for words !!!!!!!!
I owe you big time, i've never ever seen such an depth inspection of a car and it's not even for you !!
I don't want to get into a bidding war with the guy that may want to buy it, as my first colour preference is Daytona grey with a standard sunroof, not solar, but if he backs off i may well give it a go, but it will have to be at less money.
I've never seen a Mugello blue in the flesh, how did it look ?
