Sorry - can't find route details, but I do recall we stayed at L'Assiette Champenoise in Reims, La Maison des Tetes in Colmar, the Romantikhotel Florhof in Zurich, the Hotel Greif in Bolzano and the Hotel Gabbia d'Oro in Verona. I would advise driving east to west across the Stelvio pass (those hairpins are better going up than they are coming down).

I should clarify that the reason for checking out the Stelvio webcam was for the weather - not as important in the RS4 as it was in a Caterham, I grant you.

Its in an A5 Cabriolet, 2.0TDI ... 500 miles to a tank is what you need on a 4,000 road trip !

Hi DK,

No not seen the tread until now, sorry.

At least you don't have to worry about the fuel consuption.

Still, it's a price I'm willing to pay to hear that v8 with the roof down.

Have a great holiday.

Made it to Strasbourg, it's rained for 13 hours straight.

Got good MPG. Combined gave 26.7 over 640 miles.
Car never missed a beat, until she stuck maroon 5 in cd player.

Will get some pics up when it stops shagging it down.

Hello Boggle73,

I'm from Monte-Carlo (Monaco), so good trip :D

You will really enjoy all the highway's tunnels between Monaco (precisely Italy) and Genova, you can let your V8 singing
I love my RS4 B7 Milltek non-res valved
