what is normal for your RS4?

My car doesnt make the noise but I thought maybe it was the secondary air injection pump in the video making the noise. Maybe not then.

definately sounds like the seconary air injection pump.
have you got access to vag-com? you can test it seperately usin the software and it does sound like a little jet engine when at full chat but not even that loud.
Maybe you have a air hose leak and thats why it's so loud?
Does it go away after a few minutes? the SAI is supposed to shutdown when the car cat conerter is warm enough.
Also on a warm start does it do the same?

My car doesn't make that noise. However I need to get it onto the computer to test the pump. I maybe have a leak in the system and that's why the fault code is showing.
