Yet another dam deer

Post by jim1_6310 » Tue Jun 07, 2011 6:31 am

I swear this car is unlucky I have now hit a 2nd deer with the car but this time the deer ran away.

Anyways the car isn't really that bad but yet bad enough, It has burst all the plastic around the light washer and pushed it back. I will put up photos later not sure if I am going to need a new bumper yet or not. I presume a bumper wont be cheap.

Also for those of you from Aberdeen any body shops to recommend to me.

Cheers

Jim

no a blue avant

A set of bullbars sounds like no a bad idea right now.

must be i thought the milly would scare them away but nevermind.

Anyone no how much a new bumper would be.

Cheers

Yet another dam deer

Post by lma07 » Tue Jun 07, 2011 6:24 pm

Sorry to hear that :-(

King horn at Blackburn are pretty good (pricey but you pay for what you get). I've used Audi before for a bonnet respray on my RS4 - they threw in a courtesy car.

Did you not talk of a whistle thing you can get?

I had the rear bumper of mine repaired at Kinghorn a couple of years ago. Repair was good but if you go there take a note of the mileage and specifically advise you do not want it test driven!!!

Heard some good reports on Ellon Autobody. I have some clear coat flaked off on a rear arch so was planning on taking the motor to them to fix. Kinghorn good, had the Exige repaired there but expensive and heard some not so good reports lately.
