I've just called for a renewal price as mine expires this month -
Insured with Aviva through Alfreton Insurance Services.
Garaged.
39yrs old.
Clean licence.
RS4 Saloon standard, no tracker.
10+ no claims, protected
£661 (£643 last year)
I was told this is a renewal price and new business prices may be higher.

Re: Insurance
In my experience new business prices are lower than renewal prices.
Gone to the dark side
Re: Insurance

Gone: 2006 B7 RS4 Avant (Phantom Black)
Re: Insurance
That may well be the case, I've experienced this myself in the past, big business companies selling products that are compulsory to have tend to adopt the policy of 'you scratch our back, we'll stab yours'Steve_C wrote:In my experience new business prices are lower than renewal prices.
I've not gone through the process of checking if Aviva would be cheaper for me as a new customer, I was happy with the price and have been happy with the broker in the past.
Cheers
