Engine "bogging" down under hard acceleration when shifting

My RS4's engine "bogs" down under full throttle when shifting from 2nd -3rd or 3rd to 4th gears....
If you give a second or a little breather before shifting it does not "bog" down and shifts perfectly... Is this normal?
I have tried researching and some people say it may be a defective or dirty MAF... Some people say its the traction control "kicking-in" protecting the tranny.... I have tried turning off the traction control and it seems to work but I still have doubts since the RS4 is a high performance car... Wasn't it made to be driven hard ?

Has anyone encountered this problem? Is this a possible early signs of carbon build up? hope you guys can shed some light ...

You have suggested the answer, it is ESP limiting tyre slip and protecting the transmission coupled with throttle / torque limiter which is apparent in 1st/ 2nd/3rd. Switch ESP off and it will improve.

Thanks will review the thread of last week. Is it normal that when ESP is triggered that no ESP lights blink?

If you press the ESP button then it will flash on and off, that is stage one disabled. If you press and hold the button for 5 seconds it is permanently illuminated which is stage two off. In the scenario you are describing only when the wheels actually lose traction will you see the light flashing, the system is proactively stopping this happening which is why you probably won't see it flash on a dry road.

if you are too quick back on full throttle when the clutch switch is still engaged you can get a throttle cut. You also get this with a brake switch adjusted too close and the movement of the mounting points when your are using the clutch can make the brake switch operate.
