Its a notch on their pathetic racing bedpost. A bar room brag to say I beat an RS4. I equally had an RS4 up my chuff but just pulled over and let him past. The other day I had a friggin 80s XR3 who let me overtake then when I had (my cruise set at 80) he undertakes me.
Being older now I just entertain myself and dont involve other cars.

mines red but I dont get much attention (only appreciative looks mostly), it draws less than my mk4 R32 did.

do get the very occasional idiot, but just tut / swear at them at the time if they do a stupid manouevere like the M3 driver mentioned in the original post and let them go their own way. I know who's the king!

I havent got an RS4 yet (but I'm looking!), but have owned plenty of performance cars over the years.

The best way to wind up the "BM-brigade" that want to play is to just put your hand over your mouth as though you are yawning - works a treat every time :nodder:

M3 are the least of my worries.... the lads in Honda Civic/Teg type R and Glanza turbo who want to race at every light.

It the usual, sitting on the M50(main motorway around Dublin) and there right behind you, cant even see there lights or bumber there that close at 120kmh.

Agree time and a place for all shenanigans!

My TTS attracted a f@$k head last night in a M reg 3 series coupe with a mahooooosive exhaust hanging off the floor

Luckily thou, we eventually came to a dual carraigway with a 40limit with speed cameras so we were side by side, then after the last speed camera it led to a extended run of NSL

So we both booted it, the TTS stole the march and when it came to the roundabouts it was like racing a FIAT panda, with my Sport mode on, wiv mag ride and 4WD he dissapeared into the distance

Bless him for trying

havent had a issue with the RS yet... but in the subie... i've put a few M3's in the rear view...

i have a few friends with M3's they are kool, but there are some out there who are complete retards.. i love the look when the lil yellow subie pulls past em when they are "trying" to pull away...
