Clutch problem

Post by k3ukr » Sun Mar 13, 2011 6:23 pm

Had a problem with my clutch last week ,symptoms were judder through the peddle and low bite point ,Audi had replaced the clutch under warranty in august and everything had been fine until last week ,I decided to strip it myself as my car is now out of warrenty expecting either the clutch pipe problem or a broken clutch or flywheel, As soon as I had taken the box out I discovered the clutch slack and a gap between the pressure plate and flywheel ,just wondered if anyone else has came across this before as I have seen some of the same symptoms in other posts

Cheers Kev

Yea mate took some on the I phone. I will try and upload them later ,just posted to make people aware as they are probably getting charged over £1000 for a clutch and flywheel they don't need ,forgot to mention that I just took the bolts out, they have not stretched btw locktited them and stuck it back together with the same clutch and flywheel and it's fine.
