This is the latest M47 (front and rear) install on my B7 RS4. You'll get 95% plus jammer protection from them. Only if you are right on top of them do they have a chance (assuming correct installation).

The latest Blinder M27/47 are also firmware upgradeable. So assuming they release new firmware (for new guns), end users can upgrade the units via a USB connection on the control box.RSKiwi wrote:Nice,
Thats quite discreet on the phantom black, its also useful to know it works in NZ with whatever kit the Police are now using.
That's why it's so important to slow down IMMEDIATELY the warning appears and disable the jammer - so that the second attempt at getting a speed reading works, and you are at a speed that won't upset the Boys In Blue.charlesdash wrote:A word of caution, that I think I read somewhere that someone was 'done' for the use of a jammer on the charge of Obstruction of Justice and recieved a suspended sentence (or maybe with our daft legal system, a life sentence!)
The latest M27/M47 have a default max jam time of 7 seconds, after which it goes into standby for 60 seconds and then resets ready for another jam.PetrolDave wrote:That's why it's so important to slow down IMMEDIATELY the warning appears and disable the jammer - so that the second attempt at getting a speed reading works, and you are at a speed that won't upset the Boys In Blue.charlesdash wrote:A word of caution, that I think I read somewhere that someone was 'done' for the use of a jammer on the charge of Obstruction of Justice and recieved a suspended sentence (or maybe with our daft legal system, a life sentence!)
If they don't get a reading on 2 separate occassions, expect your car to be examined in a Police workshop, and when they find the laser jammer - expect trouble.
