Well for me the B5 RS4 will stay, but I've only had mine for less than a year

What to get next ? (or as well )
Hmm, toughie. For me it won't be a daily driver, so my requirements are maybe not the same.
Possibly a GT3, although I have an urge to build another kit car (probably a GT40 replica), and this is my current plan.
If that doesn't happen I might have to scratch the Ferrari itch that seems to keep recurring (a bit like herpes ). A 288 or 355 maybe (might be affraid to drive it though incase it breaks...).

Having said all of that, JohnH's SL55 AMG looks very nice

I think I'm gonna keep my B5 RS4, warranty expires soon, and will negotiate a package that covers the areas I won't be touching. I'm pretty set on the 650bhp conversion that will be out fairly soon.

Otherwise, I dunno... Maybe any of the following:

- RS6 with manual box.
- Saab with the new Scooby 6 pot engine.

Not really a lot out there that really takes my fancy, and is within reach...

Proper keeper this one I reckon, so to help it live longer I may invest in an early Golf GT Tdi 110 or something. Keep the miles down. Will have to see later on in the year (ie bonus time )

Cheers

Morris 1000 sidevalve Turbo

better than a V8 non-turbo RS4
Standard RS4 (is it the only standard one left?)

Not a bad idea that.
I run a 96 passat estate affectionately known as the 'red shed' which rolled over 181k early this week

Means the days I decide to drive the RS4 are that much more enjoyable, and no getting bored with the amount of power

How can you guys resist the pleasures of driving your Audi RS cars? We bought a third car last autumn (Ibiza TDI Sport - a great little car) to try and keep the mileage down on the Audis and somehow the RS2 still keeps getting driven and we somehow seem to have put 15,000 miles on the clock in the year we've owned her. Admittedly she wasn't a low mileage car when we bought her but ...

How does it feel to own a Cover Star car Ben?

- Saab with the new Scooby 6 pot engine.

It's not coming to Europe.
There will black imports though, but can't see why they would build any RHD since their target i USA.

For me it's the AMV8 which will arrive sometime next year, but I'll keep the RS!

A 4.2 V8 NA seems to be hunanimously rejected by our small community.

What shall we get next?

Mercedes SLK 55 AMG - ordered and scheduled for November delivery.
