I wanted to, but they weren't available on the Avant when I ordered mine.
Should have ordered the saloon then... :D
Ceramics I can live without, a saloon I could never live with

The only real RS is an Avant... the B8 is going to be Avant only, so the B7 saloon was a temporary aberation.

RS Avants = 5 (RS2,4x2,6x2)

RS non avants = 7 (RS6x2, RS4x2, RS5, TTRS, RS3)

Maybe its because Porsche now own the VW Group and they dont want a rival for their cars and they don't do an estate?
I am sure this was why the RS2 was Avant only.

The B5 RS4 was only a saloon so that's one moved to the Avant list.

RS3 is only available as a Sportback which is A3 speak for Avant, so that's another one moved to the Avant list.

So that makes Avants 7, and non-Avants 5.

There you go then. the Saloon is a more unique as a RS model and should be more desirable

I'd say predictable, not unique.

Anyway, back to the subject of ceramics.

There is an official Audi upgrade kit (I posted the part number on here a while back) but IIRC it costs something like 3x the price of the option (since it's the cost of all the parts not just the difference between normal and ceramics).

So if the parts in the link are genuine, then it might be worth a punt.

The S8 V10 had ceramics all around, just to clarify. I know this seller on ebay, I have done business with him many times. The auction does look a bit strange though. I will ask him about them later on FB.
