There's a link to a copy of the letter sent out to some owners. I don't have th elink handy but should be able to search for it.
if you get really stuck PM and I'll dig out a pdf copy.

However I've had the same experience - my local dealer refused to acknowledge there was anything about the DRC extension where as I phone Aylsebury Audi and they were the complete opposite. Not only did they volunteer the DRC warranty extension info without me asking about it but actually spent some time going through the process documented by Audi.
So it does vary from dealer to dealer which is a bit dissappointing.

You should ask them to contact Tyneside and Newcastle Audi who are the same franchise as they know of the 5 year 75,000 mile DRC warranty.

They will all claim to know nothing initially as the dealer has to stump up half. Once you have the info you talked about you can approach them fully armed but I think you’ll find them agreeing through gritted teeth.

You'd be better off taking it straight to tyneside and newcastle audi, teesside are rubbish and their customer service is appalling!

As I said in a previous post, the letter is mine, but I've no idea how it got there!

Doesn't matter if you have no Audi Waranty.. I was out almost a year, but because I fell into the DRC window (5 years or 75k) Shrewsbury Audi did it with no questions...

If you are having problems I would call Audi Customer Services and report the local dealer... they will soon be calling you up to book in :)

I thought it was too good to be true Audi Teesside phoned on Thursday to say the car was done and just getting washed, it would be ready for 5. They phoned back 1/2 hour later to say it hadnt been done and they would'nt have the bits until Monday :? what a joke............but I guess its free. :D

Just had my car in for a pre end of DRC warranty check and sailed through. No leaks and 14.5 Bar pressure in the system. All done FOC. Thanks Tyneside Audi
