Any way what is this in aid off. what you plotting? lol

Like Dave said no plot. I recognised that we are getting a god few new members here and rather then this part of RS246 beeing deemed as being a spin off from Barry Boys for all the slagging off, insults and general unsubstantiated misinformation I thought it would be good to share the information in the hope they may stick around?

So if not Bexley sonny, where do you take your RS (or have you already answered; sorry if you have  ) ?

Ah, thought we were talking Audi only. In that case MRC needs to go on the list - great independent outfit run by true enthusiasts.

It was supposed to be franchise; we can put together a list on independents as well.

Would be a good idea, with most of the cars out of at least main warranty now you can save a fortune over Audi labour rates.

+1.. if so mrc are a defo....like i said in my previous post southend audi i found to be ok but mrc are top notch with a real passion for everything s/rs.... i will get them to do all my work on my car from now on.. and if you go to sell your car an mrc service stamp is as good if not better for potential buyers than a audi stamp...IMO

Hi,
Can anyone recommend, or just as importantly advise to avoid any Audi dealers in East Anglia? I'm based in Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk

Cheers

Thanks for that info mate. I actually bought the car from there about 3 weeks ago. Great car but was pretty unimpressed by the sales team

I purchased my RS from Bury St Edmunds. I had pretty much made my mind up hat I was going to purchase the car prior to going in there. They seemed like a good bunch however this was in 2007.

just put another shout for bolton audi,

here is the quick tale, took it in for a quick look over because its 3 years old, found a small noise on power stearing pump so they changed it, very very pleased with them.

also was looking at getting rid of the fooking phone cradle thing but when i found out how much it would cost sacked the idea and orded a iphone cradle for it, they got the wrong end of the stick and changed the console, came to pick it and the thing has gone with no charge to me becasue they cocked up. So even though they cocked it up all came right in the end plus they gave me a very nice A5 cab to drive while they sorted it out. :D :D

not for a RS4 service specifically but certainly would not recommend Cheshire Oaks Audi - total w**kers and don't give a damn unless they are taking your hard earned

I've had nothing but good experience from Cheshire Oaks (or Chester before they moved), used them for A2, 2 x S3's, S4 B6 and B7 RS4 over the years and have always done a great job. They have at least one tech who seems to specialise in RS's, he certainly seems to know what he's talking about.

Liverpool on the other hand, were dreadful when I used them after buying the car from them so would not go back there.
Current - Triumph Stag, Mazda Bongo, Nissan X-Trail, C7 RS6 PE
Previous -B8 RS4, B7 RS4, 911 C4S, S4, S3's, 318is, 200SX, Primera eGT, Sunny ZX, Escorts, Fiestas....
