Hi All

Just booked myself in with MRC Tuning for an Miltik none/res valved and a remap at the same time.

Just called my current insurance and they said this will not be covered and therefore cancel the policy.

Can anyone suggest any good Insurance firms for mod cars RS4's ????

Myself and the wife are over 36/33 been driving for the last 10-13 years....what do you think they will quote me ??

Something to bear in mind, although I'm not saying you would do this, is don't do the mods and not say anything AND stay with the same insurance company, as I've been told (it could be complete BS) that they will have a note on your file to say that you rang up about modifications. They would look for these if you make a claim. Of course, you shouldn't do mods and not say anything, and clearly nobody would do that kind of thing.

ha ha ha ha , i spend to much money on that car , to have my insurance not valid when i do have a accident or the car is stolen ... if it was a little 206 i would not care ... but in this instance i want to be covered all the way ... ;-)

My insurance is due soon and have been playing around with confused.com with the modifications etc. From the standard car to modded (remap+exhaust) Elephant.co.uk only went up £170 pa.
