7 B7 RS4s listed on auction web site..

Post by neckarsulm » Fri Jun 04, 2010 7:32 am

I've listed them below, as you can see the two guide TRADE prices can be up to 3000 pounds apart which can get a trader into trouble as the lower price seems to be closer to reality.
Couple of higher mileage cars in there so be interested to see if they come into circulation with the same mileage.
All but one at Blackbushe, last one at Nottingham

CX07 XM* Daytona Saloon 34k Cap Clean = £28150 Glass's Trade = £31050
MJ07 FX* Mugello Saloon 51k CC = 25700 GT = 28183
RS04 MO* (2006) Sprint Saloon 28k cc = 25750 gt = 26925
KW07 UE* Mugello Saloon 22k cc = 29850 gt = 31825
SG07 SG* Phantom Cab 67k cc=24400 gt = 25890
LV07 KP* Daytona Avant 30k NO GUIDE PRICES STATED
LS56 TZ* Sprint Avant 72k cc - 22850 gt = 23325

One of the guys in work has an account with BCA. I saw the MJ07 Mugello Saloon on there last week, looks nice. Price aint bad either @ £25700.
In the opinion of you guys what do think it may go for and also would a dealer be after these cars or just private guys like myself?
Cheers

Dealers and private buyers usually lap these up.
I have seen cars at BCA Measham, Derbyshire end up at Fontain so you will have competition!
As long as you don't have a private punter or out of touch dealer after a car you may be OK, not many private punters are brave enough to blow £30k without a test drive
I think most of the cars are in a 'Fast and Furious' special sale so easily monitored if you have an internet auction bidding account and the time.

I saw 3 of these go through at Blackbush on Saturday, need to add a £780 (at 24k) to £920 (at 31k) buyers premium for non account holders to these hammer prices:

CX07 £31,000 (more or less retail money, packed hall... pre Veryon)
MJ07 £24,000 (good reflection of trade price a bit under cc)
RS04 £24,500 (dent and scrape on wheel arch + nasty bonet/wing scratch, the only one of the 3 with FBSW, very late through quiet hall)

Would be interested in finding what the others made, especialy LV07 Avant (Monday 7th sale - found it Saturday, looks real nice car with optics FBSW).

I can answer my own question as I managed to call in at the right time during the sale today:

LV07 £30,600 (confirming CX07 above as being toppish).

I was on the bidding but £30k inc premium was my limit for this one and I stuck to it. If anyone has one and wants a straightforward sale to a cash buyer 'pm' me. Must be FSH under 40k miles with clear HPI... and sensible money.

there appears to be a great value RS4 at Ayr Audi sub 30k for a 2006 38k miles.
Must be worth a look for someone?

agreed, and with a years guarantee that's got to be worth it compared to
the auction lottery on this type of car.

I read somewhere (aka_Dk?) that if you use Audi finance, you can also get 2 services free..

I think they all made good money really,as always right spec colour and mileage will make good money,MJ07 had the colour against it,RS04 made good money given what sounds like over a grands worth of paintwork required

Someone should tell the rest of the dealers that have cars listed on the Audi website then! rest are over 30k.
