Hello

Would you mind if we tagged along in our humble TT Tdi quattro - RS4 planned in the autumn.
We planned to be at the 'ring that weekend anyway with our Project TT feature for Redline magazine.

We will also be travelling with some customers on our annual trip from Newcastle via Ijmuden to the 'ring.
Obviously we will leave them playing at the 'ring and head down for the overnighter at the Audi factory with you guys if thats okay?

Wouldnt be able to make stelvio or como etc sadly as have to get customers back in one piece to the ferry terminal.

Please let me know so i can confirm.

Not sure if hotel is booked yet bur stayed at ringhaus previously and it was spot on.

email me direct if you wish on:
glenn@revolution247.com

Thanks
Glenn

No problem Glen, how many people is there in your group and how many rooms will you need at am-tiergarten and Nestor Neckarsulm (are they single, twin or double occupancy)?

Also, are you booked on the DFDS on May 29th as there is limited cabins left already?

Hi P_G

Not booked anything yet as still awaiting answers back from customers....gave them to the end of the week as a deadline.

I've not mentioned about the Audi leg of the tour, was just going to slip away for the day and come back the following morning as I have the only Audi.

To be fair, most of them havent been to the 'ring before so they will be more than happy staying in that area. I will mention it once i get confirmed numbers.

I lost track of where you guys are staying in Nurberg - can you email me some options please but it would be nice if we could all meet up on that evening for a meal.

7 cars maximum from my end - fingers crossed one of them brings his 997 GT3 RS along too!!

Thanks again
Glenn

Glen,

We are staying at am-tiergarten but Ringhaus isn't that far away from there IIRC if you preferred staying there. The only slight issue for you will be DFDS because on the May 29th they have a limited number 4 berth cabins left and that's it!

If it is just you for Neckarsulm that shouldn't be a problem, an extra room at the hotel outside the factory should be easy to arrange.

Just to start up the debate again, bearing in mind we now know the R8 is engine dynoed and chassis dynoed before it leaves the factory, can someone ask Quattro GmbH whether they do the same for the B7, "Why?" and what figures they come out with?

Message for pad125 mac4RS, and KR.

Looking at a final hotel in Zurich and a lot are charging up to £20 per night for parking and not always on site. There looks to be some great hotels outside Zurich so question is, do you want to see Zurcih and therefore stay in the city centre or would one taking in lake and mountain views be preferred?
