Adaptive xenon's come part as the Technology pack (SAT-NAV-Adaptive lights and 6-discs changer) this was the option for the saloon/Avant, so im pretty sure the same for the Cab. Im sure the ISOFIX was standard on the Cabs too.

It says that sat nav is standard on the cabbys, does this mean that the xenons will be also?...

Oh sorry then I don't know. I do not have the spec brochure at hand. but I knew the Cabs got "lavished" in more extras than the other 2 models did.

No worries chap. I guess it's just a waiting game now to see what comes up. Obviously we want to buy before April 1st to get the largest discount possible. Already eyeing up Miltek exhausts. We've got one on the Q7 and even that sounds mean!

No doubt user Porky will be on soon, he is a Cab owner with a few extra modification, Milltek (Valved, non-res). so hopefully he will be able to shed some more lights on the topic.

Buckets were standard on Saloon / Avant, with Recaros as a no cost option. On the Cab it was the other way round...

Text from the brochure regarding buckets - "Cabriolet models include a lever which adjusts seat backrest only for access to rear seats. The seat base is moved via the manual forwards and backwards adjustment bar at the front of the seat"

Sat Nav was standard on the Cab (as was the CD changer) but Adaptive Lights were an option

SS+ was not available at all

Ryan if you PM me your e-mail address I'll send you the brochure

we run a cab,and we love it. Its not a saloon or an avant its a cab and
does get the old shakes now and then if really giving it the beans on bad roads.

Dont worry about the buckets i am six foot four and my brother reglarly sits behind me,the wife wont give her seat up for anyone.

Had a ride out yesterday did 150 miles with the top down and loved every second of it.

I've had a few cars and my RS4 Cab is the one car I miss the most  enough to make me keep checking the classifieds to see what comes up. You just can't beat the v8 roar with the roof down (or up even, I'm sure you can hear it more as its not a solid roof)

Too much is made about the wibble wobble effect imo, if you've had cabriolet's before its not something that is going to bother you, only if you pressing on bit time on the corners will you feel extra body roll, but remember its not designed for that.

If you have any other questions about spec, ask away, mine came with near enough everything except ceramics - heated seats front/rear, pdc front/rear, fridge in glovebox, adaptive lights, nav, bt, etc. I went for standard recaros though over the buckets as I felt they suited better, especially as I didnt like the idea that the bucket did not reset back into the original position after folding forwards to let people in the back

Cheers for that Max.

Got her back into RS4's once again! She's seen a black '07 cabby she likes, think it's got pretty much all the extras bar fridge, phone and ceramics.

Not sure if it is of interest but we put my wife's Cab up for sale last week. It's a Daytona Grey 56 plate with black leather, Sep 06 with 26,000 miles owned by us since new. Extras were adaptive lights, auto dimming and folding mirrors and carbon inlays. Audi Bluetooth GSM mobile phone prep was retrofitted and supplied by CraigyB on this forum. Full Audi Service history and Extended Audi Warranty until Sep 2010 and we put it up at £30,995. It is having new front discs and pads put on it today FOC as they were replaced 4000 miles ago but Audi have recalled it as there was a faulty batch which causes some to warp apparently. Not that I am complaining as it is about £1000 worth of work.

It has Recaros and not the bucket seats- biggest problem we found with the buckets is that it was not possible to move the seats forward electrically when they are tilted so getting in and out was not ideal but we do have a 2 year old and a 3 month year old to contend with!

We are getting a new S5 Cab at the end of the month and to be honest, whilst we have got a reasonable trade in, £29,500 which is book money, I would rather that it goes to an enthusiast and if we can get a bit more money, it all helps! Our friend has it on his forecourt for £32,500 but we would take £30,000 if it was done before the end of the month to tie in with the purchase.
