Beautiful!

Is it just the camera, or do the arches look as flat in real life?

RS4414. wrote:That spec is bang on...and ceramics as well!!! Rs4,s dont get much better than this mate..well done.....Bet its original price was crazy..

If i had been looking for one at the moment i would have gone the extra mile for this beauty.

BTW...was this the one that was for sale at shaks?
Original price was around £65000 + the Milltek £2000+ the BBS's/tyres £3000 so about £70000 (!!!) in total.
When I first began looking for an RS4 about 4 months ago I came across an old advert for the car when it was for sale at Shaks specialist Cars ( It was his brothers car). Although the car was sold then, I was absolutely blown away with the colour and the spec of the car and actually saved the advert pics on my computer as I liked it so much. I was gutted to have missed it but realised anyway that it was out of my budget anyway. I duly looked at a few others, and was very close to buying a low mileage Sprint Blue avant when I noticed the White car on Pistonheads for sale- only 75 miles away, at a much more affordable price! It was meant to be! I was on the phone about 10 mins after the ad first went up and couldnt get through there quick enough to thrust a deposit in the guys hand. Turns out Nik, the owner of the car, had unexpectedly been given a chance of an early slot in the waiting list for the new GT3RS and his car was due for early March. This was an opportunity he took with both hands. This was also good for me as it gave me 4 weeks or so to sell one of my own cars. I feel very fortunate and truly priviledged to own such a special and unique car and will treasure it I think for many years to come.

Excellent car and spec and I'm curious. You have auto boot release? is that in it opens ajar or that it opens all the way up? If the latter that's the first Avant I have heard with this function and didn't know it was an Avant option?
