I had the F1s last winter and have the PS2s this winter - IMHO the F1s are MUCH better than the PS2s in snow and ice.

Hi I also have the wintrax on my right hand drive RS4 in Switzerland as working here at the mo. I am living in the mountains and these are really good. Have not had to use snow chains yet (have weissenfels that just fit) and I have a very steep (dangerous to walk down) long single track driveway and a mountina pass to negotiate. They are pretty good all round tyres and a decent price. Came round a corner a bit too enthusiastically off the snow and hit black ice going way too fast and the car managed to sideways power out of it. I was taken by surprise and really thought I was going to crash, glad I didnt buy the M3...........(was never going to really) :o only issue i have is snow packing in the arches and turning to ice wnen driving but other than that well impressed

Just been trying to get some Vredestein Wintracs but having major problems with Mytyres, different story every time you contact them. They have the tyres but seem remarkably distinterested in actually selling them and the cost of four has gone up £70 in the last week or so.

Try www.camskill.co.uk. I bought a set for our X5 and the service and delivery was good. Excellent price too.
