shawg - Im probably not far from you if you went to Aylesford.

Mines an Avant and I have 2 kids - 5 and 4 (yep, bad planning). They love the car, and we have been to Cornwall regularly with luggage. We actually go the A30/A303 as its more fun than the M4/M5 route.
Prior to the Avant I had a Z3M roadster and a C Class Mercedes Sport - the audi is the most comfortable and enjoyable to drive. dont forget, you'll be stopping every couple of hours so the little ones can use the facilities.

Spookily, I also have a VW Transporter. PM me if you want any help/advice/test drives. :-)
Everyone is unique, just like you and me.

reevesroadster- I live on Sunny Sheppey bought a few cars from there and have mixed views. A2 nightmare , S3 very good.
Will drop you a PM.

Yes it is an 01 M5, they are quick but also a bit lazy, the RS4 was much more responsive low down and the handling was in a different league.

You did test drive a BLACK one, and that is the fastest colour......(lights fuse, runs away).
