Vents?

Post by weblissimo » Thu Oct 29, 2009 7:40 pm

Happened to me one day and I thought the mic had broken...hadn't noticed that my wife had pushed the centre vents up so pointing directly at the mic...the resulting draft was the problem...pushed them down again and problem fixed...so make sure yours are OK.
Thought for the moment...

...if some mindless ASBO keys your car as happened to my previous S4 then stay positive...they may have had a moments glory in front of their mates but they only did it because they're jealous of you being able to drive it every day! Who drives wins!

It is possible to adjust the microphone sensitivity by changing adaptation channel setting in the phone module (address 77) using VAG-COM.

And also that you may have the phone volume to loud, this will feedback through the sensitive mic to the caller, had the same problem turned down the volume and no more problems, seem the mike is pretty sensative.
