Victorious!!!!!!!!!

Post by toomuch » Tue Aug 11, 2009 8:59 pm

Well then lads, took it to AUDI and i had brake judder so AUDI changed the drc under warranty and i was told brakes are not covered.

I mentioned the forum and other peoples brakes being changed under warranty and was essentially told to <beep> off.

I asked them to reconsider and was politley told the front pads and disks would cost me £1340 inc vat thank you very much.

So i my usual pig headed manner i spoke to about 5 different people in the dealership to no great joy.

I then found out the head service manager (suit) and demanded to speak to him - with the help of the only nice admin in the place - and he immediatley grabbed his torch and said ill come and tell you now sir if these are covered.

We walked over tho the car he shined the light at the brakes and said

" the disks are not blued so they havent overheated, they are not corroded and the disks are not grooved, these are the indicators of driver abuse and your brakes show none therefore i will replace them under warranty as they must be faulty"

what a fecking result!!! :D

just goes to show persistence does pay off

So new brakes on and i now have very very smooth brakes and it makes driving the car even more of a pleasure.... 8)

How old is your car and how many miles on it? Result right ebnough but I fear your dealer will get the cold shoulder from Audi CS as much as mine did when thet went to clams for recovery costs.
