I've never seen any hubcentrics less than 8mm, only lugcentric - which wobble. I thought it was because of the 8mm spigot seat on the hub.rAudiguy wrote:Sorry you're Wrong! The smallest hubcentric is 3mm then 5mm, 8mm 10mm etc.b7rs4saloon wrote:Smallest hub centric are 8mm.
6mm will wobble!
it was 5mm I meant not 6mm.
I will try and get some pictures up on Saturday.

Hi folks,
To conclude, spacers 8mm front and 10mm rear has been tested and provides some handling improvements. No scrubbing on the outer wheel well.
In that respect, our stock rims are ET29, 9.5. This means that the car will pretty safely take in approx ET21 to ET23, 9.5J wheels. Right?
That will at least widen the search for suitable rims! Thanks!

Just for the avoidance of doubt, and sorry if this sounds like party pooping, but additional offset at the front will affect the way the car performs under heavy braking.
Simply put, it will reduce stability about centre position and any upset input to the suspension under stress such as braking will have the effect of applying a strong pull off centre.
Rears will have little adverse impact on driveability AFAIK, but will increase stress significantly on wheel bearings, especially the outer race.
Needless to say insurance will be 100% invalid if you have an accident. Or at least i have seen one incident of it...
Not sure why you'd want to do this...
