Searched the net for a price for 255x35x19's. Black circles are offering Conti Sport 3's for £939.52. I popped along to my local Quicky-Fit, the guy punched a few numbers in, made a call and quoted me £680 fitted.

Personally I thought this wasnt too bad. Anyone else found any good deals on tyres? Also anyone running anything other than Conti's?

Good prices, but I'm not a big fan of conti sports - they last well, but, in my view, don't handle very well.

What about GY F1's or Vredesteins - I have run both and they both get 10/10 from me

Not standard size but once fitted, you wouldn't notice. Also, others on site recommended them and I have to say , I appreciate their input - very happy.
Tyres Goodyear Assymetrics 275/30/19 - kwik fit - 680 fitted, tracked.
PHone your local Kwik fir dealer - you will be suprised (and haggle).

As mentioned above - cheers for bobs who steered me towards 275s

Surprised with how easy the 17 year old monkey will wreck and destroy your £2000 alloys in 2 seconds with an air drill........ I wouldn't take my car to kwikfit if they paid me!! Sorry not being a snob but they destroyed all 4 of my wheel on my RS6 and I had to take them to court to resolve it.

You get what you pay for in this world IMO

Had those idiots try to do tyres on my 540i.

Went out to look at the car and the spotty little <beep> had put wide tyres on narrow rims on back and narrow tyres on wide rims at front.

Never go there.

In defence to Kwik Fit dealers...they are all independant (franchised I think??).
Each to there own but I couldn't fault the ones I went to ( I did watch them though!!!).

Kwicky-Fit in Dunfermline always do a good service. I even got them to fit tyres onto my rare BBS 3pc Splits on my Golf G60 Syncro. They always take care.

Also looks like Camskill are doing 4x Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's 275/30 R19 96Y XL for £560 delivered. £40 cash in hand should get them fitted for you so £150 per corner is not a bad price
