They look very nice indeed! - The RS6 wheels are 9.5x20 ET36 - standard RS4 is 9x19 ET29 - that gives 13mm LESS inner clearence and 1 mm RETRACTED outer clearence. Obviously a spacer is needed. Could someone who knows, please inform me the spacer width used on those cars and also what tire size is used (width and profile).

Thanks.

Do the wheels rub against the arches with the 20"? I would love to hear back from those who have fitted the larger wheels in terms of the benefits and downsides to having a larger wheel set. They definately fill the arches well.

Do the S5 20" RS4 wheels fit without spacers?

The S5 wheel has an offset of ET29 so it should be OK for the RS4.
The only issue will have with this applications, the S5 has a different hub center bore 66mm against the RS4`s 57.1mm. So you will need some spigot rings to suit.

Thats a shame.
I think 20s on a saloon look a little too big, on an avant they look good, with extra tin around the back they seem to look well proportioned.

Just a pity they sit on spacers.
