Guys I can only comments on my experience with the tyres and the feedback I have taken onboard from Audi Germany. You really have to be at their service centres to really understand the level of service you get and the facilities they have. Also their technicians and service employees are much more knowledgeable about the cars than dealers in UK.
As for the horse power, then Mac did say that if it was over 20bhp difference then they would look into the tuning engine and cpost aspects, he did mention that the mileage, service history did contribute to the overall decision Audi would make, in my instance 20k miles and fash, should not be a problem.

BlingBling: The honey period is wearing off, and I am getting to see the trend of cutting in aggresivly on the main roads as well as the poor road quality in towns, thanks for the thumbs up, and I do agree with your points.

Contigo: I can only dwell on what they will do with the car to top up the power once it undergoes the change, I will keep you postyed once I get the Dyno report and see what Audi say.

SJ: I did comment on the MTM alloys, but I think I wont be looking into that any further.

Thanks

"We then moved on to the next topic....trust me, it gets better!
I told him that the car was producing much less power that 414bhp, and I needed to get some performance out of it. He said what was the current power output. I mentioned to him that the car had been dyno'd and was spitting out 370bhp....He was not alarmed. He said that he was aware of the problem, partially related to the ECU and partially the valve oil issue. He said that I must take it to the larger Audi Centre, pay for the Dyno there, then come back to him, as Audi will then work on the engine and get it back to the original power, regardless of what it takes. The interesting bit, wait for it.....Audi will pay for this! There has been two instances already! It doesnt get any better, so I have booked this for next week. "

now this is interesting!! keep us posted pls

I think you'll find all of us who where at the RR day in Slough last week will be more than interested especially as a trip to the 'Ring' might be on the cards as well, sounds like a mass detour to one of these service centres with a hat full of under performing B7's is in order

Unfortunately my ocntract finished short in munich last week, and I had 2 return to London to start an assignment here. Having spoken to W London Audi today, the car is booked for Thursday for disc judder and BHP Issue.
Now the wrap matt black is off the cards for the moment due to my current location. If you guys are up for Nurburgring then I will be up for that, have not been, but driven on european roads many times. As for tips on journeys, simplest route would be use the eurotunnel train, have a stop over in Antwerp, and next day head down to the ring. It took me 12 hours to Munich, so can be quite tiring! However, I will post the details of the Audi centre and the guy who was dealing with my car there, later today, if anybody would like to speak to them directly.
