junction 4 m25 orpington turn off, that is the roundabout im talking about, had a geom check today all is fine and i slid out at roundabout again, will give them another 500 miles or so to bed in if no joy then they are coming off, mine are the 255/35 on 10mm spacers, still think the dunlop were better when nearly bald and they lasted 15k on very very fast autobahn driving mostly 140 mph and nothing less than a ton

Agree totally with the author of this post. I've said this before on this forum. Wet grip very poor in comparison with Michelins. Traction control light flickers round every 2nd gear corner. I'm going back to Michelins

That's definitely not my experience, confirmed over the last few days where our local roads have at times been sheet ice. The Goodyears have been superb in these extreme conditions (better than the Pirellis or the Michelins were in previous - more normal - winters).

I find the F1's are excellent too. Far better than the PZero's I had before.
Bail out, bail out, bail out.
Do I have to wait for you to say it three times.......

Same here, I am running 275's albeit on a B5. Absolutely superb in every department and on track. I ran PS2's prior to the F1's and don't get me wrong they were good, but not as good.

Pressures are paramount though...

Perhaps I'm running the wrong pressures or have got a duff set.Fronts are 38psi , rears are 35psi. Is this about right?

Ditto. MrM, if you are running at thos pressures from experience the car feels like a nightmare with little to no grip; 39-40 on front, 38 on the rears

Begging the pardon of the OP for this being OT...

I'm still on my OEM set (pzero rosso) and not only is the grip in the snow terrible, but tramlining is full-on..... what pressures should I be using for these?

40/38 for me too on the 275's, although they're actually still at 44 all round after my Euro trip...

I do remember they took ages to start to inspire confidence.

Initially thought I'd made an expensive mistake.

When they get down towards the tread wear indicators, you will get the grauching noise big time though as the bigger contact patch with no tread flex seems to tax the diffs somewhat...

In this instance, don't bother taking the car to Audi if you've got the 275's fitted as they won't want to know...
