sr71, i thought you only wanted to pay a nifty for em.... chrissy them second hand shatters are over a ton now plus a tenner postage. it makes you wonder if this mosh has got an rs4,a 30 odd grand motor and he is flogging it without the mats why?
R8 gen1 v10 plus white. Larini clubsport valved zorst.carbon side flicks,and fixed carbon spoiler.
Previous..RS4 Sprint blue loon..milltek non-res valved.revolution carbon air intake kit.cold air feed.carbon clean.MRC stage 2 remap..led interior lights.dectane led rear lights.led drls.Argon carbon oil splitter,race style front splitter,B and C door pillars and engine bottle cover..KW lowering springs.HEL brake lines all round.

There has been a slight issue with them in that the backing was to thick to stitch through. The B7 have plastic like backing i've be told so my friend has had to remove this where the logo is going and bond it back after.

I thought it might be a problem, the back is a type of plastic from memory. Looking forward to seeing the results :)

I'd like to pay a £10'er for them but presumably the entrepreneur needs food to live on...

A20Lee, is ther an update from your friend who is manufacturing these. Just I have an HMRC windfall and its burning a hole in my pocket, mats would be a nice addition! :wink:

yeah, embroiding the factory mats didn't work out, the plastic backing couldn't be removed and the mats bowed when stitched. Not one to be easily beaten plan B is now in effect and ten full sets of front and rear mats will be available next week. I'm told there a very good match for the originals if not a little thicker but without the plastic backing so they can be embroided. My mate is bring over a set tonight so i can see if there OK before the embroidery is done so i'll post pics.
