RE: Sat Nav
None at all, Audi refuse to offer it because of concerns over liability and nobody has been able to hack the RNS-E software yet.
You need to have a separate camera detector - I use a PogoAlert.

RE: Sat Nav
I use an Origin b 2 withe laser detection, good early warnings, excellent but doesn't pick up vascar or those f@@@@@g sly, sun in your eyes, on the other side of the road mobile camera vans, if only they spent as many manpower hours, watching the movements of rapists, child sex offenders, drug dealers, illegal immigrants, burglars, benefit cheats and car thieves.

Audi need to get their sat nav act sorted, the newer MMI system still doesn't have all the features of the RNS-E in our RS4's. The better appearance of OE integration is going to lose it's appeal if the functionality continues to fall behind what third party products offer. You should see some of the "language" on US websites about the limited functionality of the RNS-E and MMI...
Fourthed! I know post codes aren't always accurate, but they are better than Postal Sectors!

The only thing stopping me getting the above or similar rather than going the RNS-E route is the lack of dash display integration for the Sat Nav!

P G. when i discussed this with Tyneside Audi service reception they said "Put in as much of the postcode you can then, nearer your destination, it will ask for the last numbers/letters"
What did they tell you ?
I haven't tried this yet, have you ?

Going to test this tomorrow for myself

LIDATEK is all you need. Ive got a road angel but it stays in the glovebox - fixed cameras aren't a problem.
For "those f@@@@@g sly, sun in your eyes, on the other side of the road mobile camera vans, if only they spent as many manpower hours, watching the movements of rapists, child sex offenders, drug dealers, illegal immigrants, burglars, benefit cheats and car thieves." You cant beat LIDATEK.
It's awesome. It's saved me many times, once from a licence losing incident - I couldn't even see the cops they were that far ahead (about a mile), behind a bush, just off the duel carrigeway when BEEEEEEEEEEEEEP. Pootled past at 60, one of the coppers was laughing his head off, the one with the gun had a face like a smacked arse! Priceless.
Oh yeah it was 3am or something on a deserted road, morals morals morals....etc

The "safety camera partnerships" have become wise to "garage door openers" and when they can't get a fix on a car they now log the registration number on a shared database, on the second occasion they fail to log a speed you can now expect a visit from a tow truck to seize your car for them to inspect it for illegal "garage door openers".NGS521 wrote:LIDATEK is all you need. So you absolutely MUST slow down and let the second attempt at a speed measurement work... unless you want a prosecution for perverting the course of justice with your name against it...
When you put the postcode in you are then asked to put the street and house number in, so all it does is shorcut having to input the town really.victor2vt wrote:No idea, he was very helpful but obviously a bullsh@@@er

IIRC there is only one service manager, tall and slim build with white hair?
