I gather you mean the VXR8? Monaro is non existant now as a new vehicle. Was behind a VXR8 last week and it sounds fantastic with the sports exhaust on (found out this when we pulled into the same petrol station), shame the interior is still a bit plasticy but a great bargain car.

The VXR8 really surprised me when I had a chance to take a couple on track - OK doesn't have German build quality, but sounded great and was definately entertaining.

I reckon most of the cancellations are down to fears over what it will be worth in a year rather than fears of boredom.
