It has been covered, but I think only one person did a write up, and then sold it I believe, I want sounds clips and pictures too (is that too much to ask) there was also a few links to the RS6 website!

Iv been thinking about this mod too, much for around 800 quick, showed little gains, but made up for it in sound!

I had a GruppM in my BMW and they are as you may well know are the best on the market for build quality and performance! I was reading somewhere that the only down side, one guy was having the engine management light illuminate when at high speeds, this meant that too much air was getting into the MAF!

Upsetting the MAF will almost always end up with a very big bill!

The fuelling needs increased to compensate obviously. If it can be done on the FSI engine...

Yes this is the only thing putting me off getting a GruppM (or any other induction system for that matter), A good remap "should" sort this problem out, the other thing I noticed on the GruppM, is they have disconected the crank case breather hose (hose that elimiantes the fumes from the crank case) and this hase been replaced by a seperate external filter (Had one on a old MK2 Golf), this being the only problem I would rather the crank case breather be connected to the induction system, for competitive racing I understand why they do this, but on a 55k road car...NO

Crank case breather filter, this i under then unduction system

I had the gruppe M on my BMW! The sound was amazing. You aren't going to get much, or if any, gain though....

Still got my old one for sale if anyone is interested...I just haven't got round to selling it yet. I had plenty of interest when I first put a post up on it. Age wise it only did a few thousand miles so is as new.

PM me if you're keen.
