build quality a mile off from Audi's standards... arse end happy and a hand full in the wet I would think... so shouldbe fun then!!

had a test drive a couple of weeks ago and thought it was good, lovely sound, gearbox better than expected, good body control, bit plain inside but good seats and steering wheel. Wasn't worth the £50k+ price tag but i thought the same of the rs4 and hence didn't buy one new.
wait for it......

I think they are great cars. Lovely noise and fast too.

Go for it.

Inferior build quality and mainly the fact that I hate auto gearboxes. I woudn't prefer it over RS4.

+ RWD only means it no use in the snow up here + scary in the wet + need I go on

Yeah, I looked at one the other day and kinda came to the same conclusion as Norrs2. Massive power and sound, but not sure the put down will be as reliable as the RS - their just so sure footed. Alex

They are definately an impressive piece of kit, however, echoing what other people have said, i dont think it will be as forgiving as the RS4. It totally depends what you want from the car really. The 63 will be a different driving experience for sure.

Ok.... well after 30 months of really enjoyable (apart from DRC) RS4 ownership I have jumped ship and gone for a C63 AMG, it was actually meant to be delivered today but apparently its still on the transporter up north!!!

That aside I am really looking forward to it, also after speaking with a couple of tuners 500-520bhp is what they are getting out of them with a remap ...wahoo...

Its in Tenorite dark grey, 19", black leather, AMG sports pack which consists of composite brakes, LSD and a couple of other bits. And the sound of them is awsome!!

Wish me luck and some safe (ish) sideways action lol

I will post some pics when it eventually arrives.
